Financial and Accounting topics are often intimidating, and lack context, for most learners. AME Learning introduces learners to financial concepts using personal examples, such as understanding the impact of buying/selling a car, reducing a mortgage, or paying for items using a credit card. Based on a strong understanding of principles, AME transitions learners to a generic service / product business to apply the concepts to practical day-to-day actions. AME’s instructional design team will often work with organizations to customize learning outcomes, creating case-studies and simulations of the client’s business model targeted for industries, roles, and each client’s unique culture.
Many financial acumen programs use 1-directional modalities (video, instructor presentation, PowerPoint). AME has developed and patented a highly interactive methodology for teaching financial concepts that engages every individual learner in the learning experience. Using patented tokens and color-coded accounts, learners experience financial transactions and the relationship between accounts. This pedagogy utilizes all the senses (audio, visual, color-coded, and tactile), accelerating the learning experience and increasing the retention rate.
