Financial Accounting Principles meets students where they are and gives them a big-picture understanding of how the language of accounting applies to their own lives. Once students are comfortable with the foundational logic and principles of accounting, we introduce the business context. Students are exposed to all fundamental financial accounting concepts, including partnerships and corporations. This approach has lead to a significant improvement in engagement and grades, as well as a substantial reduction in drop-outs and failures.
